Aisha Fiona Myrmorn is the empress of Atharia. The power of elves runs in her blood. She is the only child of Emperor Frederick Myrmorn and Lady Anastasia of Peshu. Upon her parents’ death, she inherited their titles.
Two years after the Disaster of Two Fires, Aisha married Lilith Yohan. They then mother two children: Prince Mikaela and, after a hundred years, Princess Eloise.
She is one of the POV characters and the protagonist in Madwomen.
Appearance
Aisha is a woman of tall stature. She has long dark wavy hair reaching her hips. She has vivid red eyes. Many comment on her flawless, smooth, and pale skin.
As a princess, she wears elaborate red and blue gowns and the diamond crown of the Atharia Empire. She accompanies these with ornate accessories custom-made by the royal family jeweler.
As an empress, she wears different white gowns with a sheer cape. A silk ribbon is tied around her belt, holding a silver scabbard for a dagger. She wears the golden crown of Atharia to signify her position. She avoids wearing accessories, keeping her appearance as simple as possible.
Personality
As a princess, she is characterized as naive, innocent, and eager to please. She works hard to connect herself to others at an early age, ensuring she is set well into the future.
She follows customs to its very letters. She is, however, very painfully stubborn in following the discipline she has been taught to the point of inflicting punishment on herself should she disobey the teachings.
Having been taught to look up to authority, she despises those who go against the mold. She has a tendency to look down on those who go against tradition and law, being very closed off to differences in circumstances. Despite her seemingly cutthroat approaches, she’s extremely warm and friendly to a vast majority of people. She finds no point in being consumed by anger or grief, viewing it as a waste of time when there are many other things to be bothered with. She makes it a point to be kind to everybody to the best of her abilities, to the extent of appearing superficial.
However, upon becoming the empress, Aisha is mature, cold, and calculating. She’s willing to put on an act around others. Many know her to be cruel, taciturn, and not open to discussions. She’s feared by council members and slandered by noble families she rules over. She expects nothing but perfection from herself, carefully pondering on her actions before moving, most especially on royal affairs.
With her rule, the Atharian economy and general quality of life has vastly improved. Despite this, most of her subjects dislike her and hold no respect for her due to their preference of her parents’ rule. The people’s disdain of Aisha only adds up to her consuming anger towards her lack of extreme power— she goes miles to prove her power and parade it around in order to scare her subjects into obedience.
While most people characterize her as someone heartless and uncaring, inside, Aisha cares too much about her image and how others view her. She dislikes being disliked to the point of forming self-destructive habits such as refusing to eat when a tabloid frames her as a glutton for simply eating in public. She tries to control how others perceive her but ends up settling on becoming a feared empress as she believes it is the closest thing to respect.
Aisha is particularly harsh on herself, ensuring that all her actions will cause public opinion on her to get better but to no avail. She wishes to become the embodiment of perfection; she maintains her appearance, her attitude, and her knowledge on a daily basis. Aisha’s push for perfection causes her to lash out on those she holds close, although unintentionally. She holds public opinion of her higher than her peers’ opinion of her in higher regard, hurting most of her friends’ feelings, most especially Blaire’s.
Aisha is highly temperamental when her abilities are brought up in conversation. Upon meeting Lilith, she is immediately put off by how Lilith looks down on her. She tries to appeal to Lilith over and over again despite her disdain for the woman, showing her side of wanting to be liked even by those she hates.
As well as being easily angered, Aisha never forgets nor forgives a slight. She follows the old Myrrhian belief of paying back debts thricefold; when someone works under her favor, she will repay with her gratitude thricefold. However, when she perceives something as a fault against her, she will repay with her fury thricefold.
History
Background
Aisha is born to Frederick and Anastasia Myrmorn, the ruling monarchs of Atharia, making her the crown princess.
During her childhood, she was greatly loved by her parents and by subjects alike. Aisha was known for her immense beauty, charm, and intelligence. Due to this, many have lined up to enlist their children as potential matches for the empress-to-be in her coming of age. However, Aisha paid most of them no mind and chose to occupy herself with her studies.
She was described to have been ‘as delightful as a spring breeze.’ Though sassy and unafraid to speak her mind, Aisha quickly endeared herself to the masses by appearing as the most beautiful girl in any event she happened to attend. At the age of sixteen, Aisha had accumulated a long list of suitors of varying ages, ranks, and cultures. Her list of suitors is rumored to have been composed of over thirty men.
Upon the death of Aisha’s parents and her subsequent coronation at age nineteen, Aisha grew cold towards the masses. She made quick work to snuff out the masses’ enthusiasm to see her married as she takes the throne. She throws herself into her duties, only interacting with council members and her knight and object of affection, Blaire Walman.
Abilities

- Sorcery — Aisha possesses the ability to have a weak control over various magical fields which includes, but is not limited to: aeromancy, hydromancy, divination, and evocation.
- Immortality — As an elf, Aisha is unable to die a natural death.
